OL BLUE KNIVES: Handmade and forged from high carbon tool steel quenched and double tempered

Thank you for your interest in OL BLUE KNIVES.

All my knives are handmade and hand forged by me in a one man shop. I have been making knives since 1980.

All knives are made from high carbon tool steel, quenched and double tempered.

I use the traditional old slow rust blue (brown and black) on some blades. Others have a hand sanded finished.

I make my own Damascus steel in several different patterns.

I prefer to use only natural handle material. Each knife must be a usable tool or weapon before it leaves my shop.

Leather sheaths come with most knives and are made by me.

Knives can be plain or fancy. Your style or mine.
